Phillip E. Wilson is a well-known Real Estate mogul who understands that superior “client service” and “dedication” is smart business. He is a native of Los Angeles, California an began his career in the family’s real estate business. He worked with his father (Mr. Edward Wilson of R.E.Wilson & Associates) for over 12 years and was extremely successful in making profitable deals. His father commented on his son’s business success by stating that “everything he seems to touch turns to gold”.

Known as the master negotiator he received total satisfaction from helping people achieve their real estate goals and was often praised for leading his clients through the buying process with an honest approach, coupled with integrity and professional knowledge, which instills a sense of confidence in his clients.

With gratitude of all the blessings he received in his career this Real Estate mogul always had sense of discontentment.

After gaining the necessary business skills, abilities, and knowledge in real estate Phillip moved into the Hair Care scene (which was his first love). As a child he would accompany his mother (Mary Wilson, who is a Master Stylist) to her salon. He would spend hours at a time watching his mother create some of the most unique and amazing hair styles.  Mr. Wilson remembers how his mother would voice disapproval regarding the deficiency of hair care products for the ethic hair.

Phillip sought out to build a hair care product line that provided the ethnic population with a sense of self.  Silk Effects Hair Care Products was birth on the strength of the beauty of ethnic women.  Due to the lack of research in ethnic hair care in our local drug stores and grocery stores we discovered a huge variety of hair care products do not adequately cater to the needs of ethnic hair growth, luster, and manageability.  The products ranged from poor quality to pretty good and some even very good.  But, when it came to ethnic hair care products, we discovered an extremely limited selection, and the products that were available were full of cheap fillers.

As he evaluated the situation even further he discovered the local beauty supply stores were not ethnic-owned but were located in predominantly ethnic neighborhoods.  In these supply stores we found that not only was the quality of the products lacking in quality but these stores offered poor services.

The people behind the counter were not knowledgeable about the ethnic hair care needs and concerns. As a result, we decided to mix and blend the best products for ethnic hair and skin.   Today, after having had his business for a few years now receives emails from women of all ethnicity thanking him for providing them newer choices of products that are actually good for them.
